SAP Advantage

Advantage has been around since 1993, when it was introduced to provide a stable solution for Clipper developers who were tired of slow performance and corrupt indexes inherent to file server-based databases. Over the years, ADS has grown in both popularity and features. Advantage is now a mature product with an impressive collection of features that rival many of the more expensive and complicated database servers.

We created our own high-performance streaming Advantage table files reader. You don't need separate drivers and can immediately read all data in your Advantage database. For now we don't support Advantage as a database target.

Full Convert supports SAP Advantage database directly.

Export SAP Advantage database

It may make sense to migrate your data away from SAP Advantage. You may want to do it permanently or just need to share your tables with a collague in a different format.

We will copy all your tables with their data and apply indexing and relationships exactly as they are in your current SAP Advantage database. In a nutshell, you get exactly the same database in another database engine. Each time you run the migration, we will copy all the tables again. Of course, we have a built-in scheduler, so you can run this overnight and have a fresh database copy in the morning.
